hello am a newbie to the IT world, first of all can u tell me what is SAP and the relevance of SAP in the industry and y all these fortune 500 companies are giving these much of hype to SAP.Is it that much worth?.Is it worth if i do any certification course in SAP :O
See Maverick its not that its not worth.It will vary according to the market whether it is down or up.You should have to take a risk 50/50 chance is there if you are confident on you go for it.Dont ask for any second option.
Hello Maverick, First of all Welcome to GetSAPed :) And as for your question. Actually the answer for this question is always going to be YES, its definitly worth every penny you spent, well the only thing you have to be patient. you cannot change your world in one day, Initially you'll struggle a little bit as you enter the SAP world as a fresher but as you move forward gaining experince & skills you'll find yourself at a very commanding position in the SAP market. You may find several freshers struggling in the market as the market for freshers is little bit down as of now but im sure it will rise up soon & one more thing to note is these market condition hasn't effected the people with atleast 2-3 experince. Like i said if you are ready to get commited to work hard & struggle for a couple of years im sure it'll bear the fruit. :)

But I want to knw for which course shud I go. I am an I.T student with no experience, so is it any worth to go for sap course and wat course shud i opt for certification. Generally ppl suggest me for abap only. I want to knw if i go for abap , will i get blocked in future. And also suggest me some good institutes which can help me in placements also... me in damn confusion :(
